Pipeliners
Pipeliners install, repair and maintain oil and gas piping systems all across North America. They perform vital work to keep supplies of oil and natural gas moving safely and efficiently from oil fields to refineries and on to consumers. Pipeliners work “on the road,” often in remote locations. This work requires superior welding skills and high productivity.
Pipeliners and gas distribution members are vital to the welfare of every citizen in North America. Millions of pipelines crisscross North America, bringing oil and natural gas to power plants, hospitals, schools and homes. Pipelines are the safest way—by far—to transport petroleum products. For more than a century, pipeline systems in Canada and the United States have safely and reliably delivered oil and gas to every corner of North America—in large part thanks to the skills of United Association pipeliners, working in partnership with contractors through the Pipe Line Contractors Association.
