Career Paths
UA members can choose to pursue many different career paths. Starting as apprentices, the UA provides numerous training opportunities to grow and develop our members into highly skilled journeymen.
However, you decide how far you will go. Career opportunities beyond journeyman can include becoming a project foreman, CAD (computer-aided design) designer, estimator, or contractor/business owner. You can also stay within the union and help the next generation of tradesmen and tradeswomen by becoming an instructor, organizer, or union leader.
