Prince Edward Island (PEI), with its vibrant green fields, colorful houses, numerous lighthouses, beaches and natural wonders, is a magical place to call home. For the members of Plumbers, Pipefitters, and Welders Local 721, who are fortunate enough to live and work on the island, the work has been plentiful lately

Local 721 currently has roughly 150 members. They work in various markets, including service work, hospital work and work on apartment buildings that are from 6 to 90 units. But what has created a lot of work for the skilled tradesmen and women on PEI is the ever-expanding manufacturing plant in Charlottetown, which is owned by BioVectra Inc. Also, there is an abundance of potato processing plants, fish plants and blueberry plants.

Local 721 is a tight-knit group. The members are blessed to live and work in such a magical place, and they know it.
